Jenson first started thinking about real estate at a young age. Coming from a home with a single mom, Jenson was always looking for ways to gain financial freedom. When Jenson moved to Portland 6 years ago they knew they wanted to make Portland their home. They bought their first home in the Montavilla neighborhood. After going through the process of buying their first home they gained a unique perspective on the buying experience. Now Jenson takes an educational approach when it comes to home buying. They are great at going through each step and explaining it in an understandable way. Jenson got into real estate for the simple fact that they want to help everyone who wants to be homeowners be able to achieve that goal, and to be able to gain comfort and security.
Their ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Jenson would start their day at Bipartisan coffee shop getting matcha, then hanging out with a few awesome clients and showing them homes. Then they would stop by their favorite thrift store. In the evening Jenson would of course take their dog on a hike at Mt Tabor, and cook their favorite food (homemade dumpings)!
Their superpower: Taking complex ideas and explaining them in an understandable and digestible way! Jenson is a pro at communicating. They have worked on their communication style for years and know that every person learns things a bit differently.
Superpower they wish they had: To teleport! If Jenson could teleport, they could show three times the houses! Also they could go back in time and figure out how everyone was buying homes for $16,000.
Favorite moment/s in real estate: Helping first time homebuyers achieve their real estate goals. Jenson has helped many clients over the years to start to rebuild their credit and get on a savings plan. When they finally close on the their dream home, it is really rewarding for Jenson to know that they helped in that process and was able to empower their client.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Montavilla! It has it all, the community, the little strip of coffee, restaurants, movie theater, and bars! It’s just a hop and jump away from Mt Tabor. You can go to dinner in Montavilla, see a movie, and then take a little walk in Tabor.
