YWSE's Word From The World: A Panel On Global Social Entrepreneurs

They love our space, and we love them - the Young Women Social Entrepreneurs are back at Urban Nest on N. Williams, and this time they're expanding the conversation on a global scale. Every time we have this inspirational group of women on site, it's a vibrant hive of positive energy - we're always proud to support them and their endeavors. From their event copy:

"Portland is a hub for social entrepreneurs with an incredible breadth of experience and knowledge, and we have been so grateful for the insight shared at each of our events. However we’ve caught wind that the members and fans of the YWSE PDX chapter are interested in hearing a more global perspective of the field and it's applications. Well, we hear you! At our upcoming event, participants will hear from a panel of individuals that hope to introduce, inspire, and inform us about the world of social entrepreneurship beyond our local community. Participants can expect to hear from Abby Chroman, a consultant for PSU’s Impact Entrepreneurs program and Ashoka Innovators for the Public, Ila Asplund of Half Sky Journeys, and others! Panelists will discuss what seeking social impact on a global scale entails and how they’ve conquered the challenge. We are excited to offer this opportunity to expand our entrepreneurial horizons and we hope to connect with you there! So, please join us and our lovely hosts at Urban Nest Realty Thursday, March 20th @ 6:00 PM."
