Sage was born in SE Portland, and has spent his life admiring the city. He believes that a Home intersects with the most important aspects of life. Being able to support people through the complex journey of home ownership is incredibly meaningful. With a background in service work, both international humanitarian & domestic conservation, Sage has built a robust connection with the act of meaningful support. Being able to help real people create their base in our wonderful city is a dream for him.
His ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: As a foodie and an adventurer, an Urban day would be full of delicious meals and exploring. Starting with a breakfast at Broder, A forest park hike, and a mid morning coffee. A walk through NW 23rd would lead to a look at local art and vintage furniture.
His superpower: Sage's superpower is building meaningful connections, and creative thinking. Sage's background is in Philosophy and Art. As a lover of puzzles, problem solving and etymology, Sage is always trying to find a new way to look at things.
Superpower he wishes he had: Sage would love to be able to fly. He's been trying to recreate the feeling by riding motorcycles, but it just doesn't quite get there!
Favorite moment in real estate: Sage has had a lot of wonderful moments in real estate, but the most meaningful moments always revolve around triumph over fear. Home buying and selling often intersects with our deepest insecurities, beliefs and stresses. Being able to witness people overcome their fears and establish new security and freedom in the process of home ownership makes everything worth it.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Sage's favorite neighborhood is Richmond. He's been living there for 9 years, and couldn't ask for anything more. From the volume of quality restaurants, the diversity of architecture, and the friendliness of his neighbors, Sage couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
