real estate BROKER
Rhonda’s love of Real Estate started with her first purchase of an historic Tudor back in 1997 that had good bones, but needed a little love. She feels that each home has a unique story to tell. Through renovations appropriate to the property’s era and style, she hopes she has helped those homes better tell their tales.
Rhonda has a long history of marketing and design, which enables her to serve her Real Estate clients with dynamic marketing and promotion for their properties. With Rhonda’s rich history of marketing and client service, her love of Real Estate and property renovation, becoming a broker was a natural step in her career.
Her ideal Portland adventure: During the summer months, Rhonda likes to hike in Forest Park with her husband and dog, and then head to North or Northeast Portland to grab a craft beer and a meal. During the winter months she spends time painting, craft making, and trying new recipes. She is a volunteer chef all year for Our House of Portland..
Her superpower: People feel comfortable being themselves with Rhonda—She encourages that. Also, she was once a magician’s assistant doing big stage acts…so there’s that!
Superpower she wishes she had: Making the perfect chocolate chip cookie, every time. She’ll keep trying!
Favorite moment/s in real estate: The excitement and vision that comes with purchasing a new home or property, and thinking about all the possibilities!
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Alameda in Northeast Portland. It sits in between busier neighborhoods like Fremont and Alberta, and is walkable to all of the fun, but with its wide streets and its gracious historic homes, it feels like it’s out of another era. Taking walks there with her dog, it has a kind of gentle magic to it.
