Homes have always been Maggie's thing, whether it’s the charm of a historic house, great design details, or the personality of a neighborhood. She loves getting to know what makes each area unique and noticing the little details that give it character. She’s also the person who walks into a home and immediately starts imagining what it could be. That mix of curiosity and creativity is what drew her into real estate. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her clients and how they live, so she can help them find a home that feels just right. Her background in sales, marketing, and graphic design naturally carries into how she helps clients: creative, thoughtful, and strategic
Her ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Maggie’s ideal Portland day starts with loading up her three dogs, and occasionally her cat, and heading to a favorite river spot. From there, she’d spend the afternoon antique shopping, wandering through fabulous shops and hunting for unique finds. As the day winds down, she’d grab a patio table at one of Portland’s amazing restaurants for dinner and drinks, then catch some live music to round out the night. It’s the perfect mix of exploring, relaxing, and enjoying the many things that make Portland such a special place.
Her superpower: Maggie’s superpower is being able to walk into a space and instantly see what it could become. She loves helping her clients look beyond what’s there today and imagine the potential, whether it’s small design changes or a full transformation. It’s one of her favorite parts of the process, and it makes finding (or creating) the right home even more exciting.
Superpower she wishes she had: If Maggie could have any superpower, it would be the ability to time travel. She’d love the chance to step inside historic homes when they were first built, learn the stories of the people who lived there, and see neighborhoods as they were generations ago. There’s something fascinating about the history and character that homes hold, and being able to experience those moments firsthand would be incredible. She’d spend all her time exploring old houses, uncovering their stories, and gaining a deeper appreciation for the places that make each neighborhood unique.
Favorite moment/s in real estate: Maggie’s favorite moments in real estate are handing the keys to first-time homebuyers. There’s nothing like seeing their genuine excitement and happiness after working so hard to reach that milestone. Being part of that moment, when everything finally becomes real, is incredibly special. It’s a reminder of why she loves what she does and how meaningful the home-buying journey can be for her clients.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Picking a favorite Portland neighborhood is tough because each one has its own personality. Maggie could spend hours wandering Irvington and Alameda, admiring the stunning historic homes and imagining the stories behind them. She loves Hawthorne and Division for their incredible restaurants, unique shops, and funky charm that reminds her of New Orleans, where she lived before calling Portland home. But if she had to choose, North Portland is her favorite. Maggie lives in Arbor Lodge and loves how it feels like its own little pocket of the city, peaceful, welcoming, and a little tucked away, while still being close to amazing restaurants, local shops, and parks.
