Willamette Week Best Of Portland: Why Vote For Urban Nest

This isn’t the first year Portland has voted Urban Nest Realty onto the “Best of Portland” ballot as one of the top real estate brokerages in town.

And honestly? We’re honored to be there again. And we’d be so grateful for your vote this year, too.

So… why Urban Nest?

We aren’t like other brokerages, we’re a cool brokerage 😎

But jokes aside, doing things a little differently has always been our guiding light.

Urban Nest was started 15 years ago (this month! happy anniversary to us ) by Holly Burton and Rachel Freed with a simple goal: build a brokerage for the people. One that centers, doing right by clients, Realtors, and the community.

Woman-owned + community-minded always

We’ve been woman-owned and community-minded from day one, and we’ve let our values lead the way ever since.

And it shows:

  • We have agents who’ve been with us for over a decade.

  • We have clients who will only work with an Urban Nest agent, because they know the experience will be top notch.

Collaboration is our superpower

Our clients win because our agents aren’t doing this alone. When our clients work with an Urban Nest agent, they get the backing of a whole crew of experienced people to:

  • talk strategy

  • problem-solve tricky situations

  • tap into deep networks

  • help you buy your dream home or sell yours with as smooth a transition as possible

Why retention matters

No matter the season, our agents are always working to improve their business and their clients’ experience. You can see it in the tenure of our agents, but also in our staff: we have a high standard, and our people stick around.

Experienced (and happy) staff means better support every day. Whether that’s marketing help, business consulting, listing prep, or just being an extra set of hands when things get busy.

So what do you say? We’d be honored to be voted Best of Portland again this year. It truly makes a difference to this small, locally-owned brokerage.
