Fake Radio will re-enact two 30-minute episodes of the police radio show Dragnet, dressed in period clothing and standing, scripts in hand, facing microphones. You’ll feel like you’re watching a live radio recording from the 1940s, right down to the commercials. Just be ready for the cast to occasionally go off-script!
JUNETEENTH PARADE & CELEBRATION

Juneteenth is the oldest celebration of the end of slavery in the United States. The day kicks off with the Clara Peoples Freedom Trail Parade honoring Portland’s very own Mr. Samuel Thompson as Grand Marshall, followed by festivities including live music, art, food, educational booths, cultural booths, and a children’s play area.
SINGIN’ IN THE SQUARE

Celebrate the 35th anniversary of both Pioneer Courthouse Square and Prince’s epic Purple Rain album at this all-ages singalong led by the Low Bar Chorale. The event will include special appearances by China Forbes, Edna Vazquez, and more, but the true leading singers are those in the audience.
