Kyle didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a Realtor. After spending years in the restaurant industry, he was ready for a career that challenged him in new ways while still allowing him to work closely with people. Real estate felt like a natural transition, and it turned out to be exactly where he was meant to be. His background in construction gave him an appreciation for how homes come together, and he still enjoys learning about architecture and taking on DIY projects around his own house. The more he learns, the more fascinated he becomes by the stories homes tell and the role they play in people’s lives.

His ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: His perfect Portland day starts with a great cup of coffee at a neighborhood café before taking a long walk through Pier Park. After working up an appetite, he’d grab lunch from one of Portland’s incredible food carts, because there are too many good options to stick to just one. The afternoon is best spent with friends and neighbors in someone’s backyard, enjoying good conversation, yard games, and plenty of laughs. He’d finish the day with dinner at home, followed by another walk around the neighborhood, and cap it off by catching a beautiful Pacific Northwest sunset.

His superpower: Kyle’s superpower is making people feel comfortable. He’s always believed that people do their best when they feel heard, welcomed, and at ease. Years in the hospitality industry taught him the value of listening first, being patient, and paying attention to the little things. He enjoys creating an environment where people can be themselves, ask questions, and know they’re genuinely supported.

Superpower he wishes he had: The ability to speak every language. Being able to have a genuine conversation with anyone, anywhere in the world, would open the door to countless friendships, stories, and experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.

Favorite moment in real estate: He enjoys seeing other people succeed. Whether it’s helping a client move into the next chapter of their life or watching a colleague accomplish something they’ve worked hard for, those moments never get old. His favorite part, though, is often what happens after closing. When the paperwork is behind them, and the conversation shifts to home projects, neighborhood coffee shops, or what’s next in life, that’s when he knows the relationship was about more than just the transaction.

Favorite neighborhood, and why? Kenton. Kyle never thought he’d say those words when he first moved to Portland, but the people and the sense of community completely won him over. It has a welcoming, small-town feel while still being connected to everything that makes Portland special.
