A resident of Portland for over 25 years, Debra has a deep appreciation for the city, suburbs, and its diverse neighborhoods. Prior to entering the exciting world of real estate, Debra earned her master’s degree in Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, where she honed her outstanding people, negotiation and project management skills. Debra researched real estate as a profession while investing in real estate and managing contractors before becoming licensed as an Oregon real estate broker in 2015. She later became a licensed realtor in Washington in 2024.

Where Debra really excels and sets herself apart is in her ability to build trust with her clients, listening to their concerns and communicating any and all issues as they arise. She specializes in working with neurodivergent clients, and her background in social work comes in handy. With fluid communication skills and a sharp attention to detail, Debra is a dedicated real estate broker with a good sense of humor, an easy smile and an ability to put buyers and sellers at ease.

Her ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Debra’s ideal day would begin with her hubby Chris making her a cup of coffee, followed by breakfast at Mother’s Bistro with her family downtown. The day would continue with her kayaking on the Willamette or the Sandy River. For dinner, she could be found dining at Yalla or at Zinc near her home in Multnomah Village. Dinner would be followed by 3-4 games of mahjongg with her girlfriends at home.

Her superpower: Debra’s superpower is her ability to advocate for her clients. Throughout a purchase or sale, Debra listens to her clients’ needs, checking in with them throughout the process to make sure that they feel supported. She loves to dig into the details to ensure that her clients have all of the information that they want or need throughout the real estate transaction.

Superpower she wishes she had: Debra would love to have the ability to time travel and spend more time with her parents.

Favorite moment/s in real estate: Her first sale was quite memorable. Selling real estate was something that she had wanted to do for years. After years of thinking about getting her license, it felt great to finally be putting all of her skills to work.

Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Debra loves lots of neighborhoods for different reasons. She loves the sweetness of Multnomah Village with its small-town vibes. She enjoys downtown Beaverton's options of great dining. She loves the density of great restaurants in the SE industrial area, such as Nong's Khao Man Gai.
