Brianne's interest in real estate was sparked during her experience as a first time home buyer. She worked with an incredible agent during a competitive market for buyers who tirelessly wrote offer after offer until they got a win. The guidance and support provided by her agent was a huge part of the joy that came with becoming a homeowner, and with her extensive sales experience and eye for design, Brianne was inspired to jump into the real estate world.
Her ideal adventure for an urban Portland day: Would start off with a hike in Forest Park and then she’d fuel up after at Stretch the Noodle food cart (get the chao mian!). Next she’d head over to QuarterWorld or Ground Kontrol for some arcade fun and end the night with a drink at Victoria Bar.
Her superpower: Fitting a vacation into a layover.
Superpower she wishes she had: To be able to apparate!
Favorite moment in real estate: When she finally won a bidding war and bought her house! Brianne and her husband shopped remotely for homes in Portland (they were living in NYC at the time) and had to submit offers for nearly 10 houses before finally scoring a winner. The process taught her a lot about patience and strategy in competitive markets, and how to push through to find your dream home.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Overlook! Awesome views of downtown and the Willamette, easy access to downtown, and close to great eats and shopping on Mississippi and Williams. Plus the homes are gorgeous!
