PRINCIPAL BROKER | The Portland is Home Team
Working Hard to Welcome You Home!
Audra and her husband Andrew are partners in life and real estate. They are both principal brokers, and have been working together in real estate for almost fifteen years. Before they moved to Portland, Andrew and Audra lived in the windy city of Chicago where they followed their passions in film and theater. They initially came to PDX to work in television, but ended up falling in love with our beautiful city and decided to set down roots. In 2002, Andrew got his real estate license and Audra soon followed. Together they have built the 'Portland is Home' brand which focuses on helping friends, family, and new clients (who soon turn into friends) buy and sell homes.
Their ideal Portland adventure: Andrew and Audra’s perfect day begins when they jump on their bikes with their kids. Farmers markets are a must, so that’s the first stop. After breakfast and shopping at the market they’ll fit in some play time. Weather cooperating, the family will enjoy a lovely bike ride around town. Then it’s home to work in the garden, jump on the trampoline or just read. In the summer a visit to Kruger Farm for an evening concert and picnic completes a perfect day.
Favorite moment/s in real estate: There are many great moments for Andrew and Audra, including showing an incredible house, giving a buyer the keys to a brand new home, and helping a seller through the sale of a property from start to finish. If asked to choose just one favorite, Andrew and Audra agree: it’s when they can help a friend or client with assistance for anything home related before, during or after a transaction. Their service to their clients and their friends does not end when the sale closes. The end of a transaction is just the beginning of a long relationship that Andrew and Audra will cherish forever.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Andrew and Audra simply couldn’t choose just one neighborhood. They love them all, each for different reasons. For sunsets they head to Overlook. The neighborhood has a lovely bluff with a secret park that’s absolutely dreamy in the summer. When it comes to eating they’re torn between SE Division and the Williams corridor. Restaurants, cafes, and food carts abound. There’s a new culinary adventure around every corner. For a leisurely stroll down a tree lined street the family heads to Irvington, meanders through Historic Piedmont, or admires the roses in Ladd’s Addition. For views their picks are Mt. Tabor and the West Hills neighborhoods of Hillside, Arlington Heights, and Council Crest. Portland really does have it all.
