Having lived in Sweden and Italy, Theresa knows how to orchestrate big moves. She brings to Urban Nest an eclectic, international background steeped in literature and design. Moving to Portland from Charlottesville, Virginia –where Thomas Jefferson first conceived the Lewis and Clark Expedition – she immediately felt at home. She’s continually enchanted by the city’s inclusive, mellow attitude and its thoughtful, creative inhabitants.
Her ideal Portland adventure: A perfect Saturday for Theresa would begin with an aerial class at the Circus Project followed by breakfast at St. Honoré. She would then bike to Blue Sky Gallery to see their latest photography exhibit, or, if it was stormy, she’d catch whatever was playing at Cinema 21. Heading home, she’d browse the eclectic Three Monkeys and meet friends for tapas and drinks at Atuala.
Her Superpower: Theresa is an empathetic listener, dog whisperer, and tenacious problem solver with the ability to work Irish literature into any conversation.
Superpower she wishes she had: the organizational ease Mary Poppins demonstrates with a single finger snap.
Favorite real estate moments: predicting real estate trends and discovering the next “hot” neighborhood as well as making coordinating real estate transactions look effortless.
Favorite Portland neighborhood, and why? Theresa loves the Eastside, but is partial to her NW neighborhood, Slabtown. Named after the inexpensive heating source working-class residents used in the 1880s, it possesses an eclectic variety of Victorian homes and history.
