Each year Train Day events across the country commemorate the completion of the first transcontinental railroad with the pounding of the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, Utah on May 10, 1869. DEPRESSED CAKE SHOP

The Depressed Cake Shop is a one-day pop-up bakery to raise awareness of mental illness through the sale of special cakes, cupcakes, and other treats donated by local bakers. The baked goods are gray on the outside and sometimes colored on the inside to symbolize hope and to encourage conversation about mental health issues. Sales support Baby Blues Connection.
