TWEED BIKE RIDE & TEA SOCIAL
April 17th, 2:00 PM | Chapman and Lownsdale Squares
Don your finest tweed, ladies and gents, shine up your beautiful classic bicycles, pack up a picnic, and prepare for a day of leisure and biking! Meet up with fellow tweed bedecked riders downtown for a tea social, then follow a leisurely route of about 10 miles (with a stop or two in the middle for picnicking) before arriving at a mystery location for further festivities.

You can almost smell the fresh-cut logs and the sweat of lumberjacks as you watch the astounding acrobats of Cirque Alfonse perform incredible feats using the natural raw materials of the forest and everyday farm equipment. The atmosphere is hyper-festive as Québécois musicians add authentic flavor to the jaw-dropping spectacle of agility and strength by this young, brash circus troupe.
SPRING PADDLE FESTIVAL
April 22nd-23rd, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM | Vancouver Lake Park
Enjoy two days of free canoe, kayak and stand-up paddling classes, clinics and demos, hosted by Alder Creek. Try hundreds of different kayaks, canoes and paddleboards to get a feel for your favorite way to paddle. Afterward join Alder Creek at their Jantzen Beach shop on Saturday evening for live music and a barbecue.
