February 3rd-6th | OMSI
This all-ages event promises to turn the city into a tapestry of light and color, illuminating the Portland cityscape for 4 days. Building facades will glow with animated projections, light will dance on the water of the Willamette from the bridges above, and performances will fill the night air with excitement and whimsy.

February 8th-22nd | Lan Su Chinese Garden
The Year of the Monkey begins February 8th. Learn more about Chinese New Year, the most colorful and joyous of all Chinese festivals, during this two-week celebration. Events and activities include everything from lion dances and Chinese calligraphy demonstrations to marital arts performances and flower arranging demonstrations. The celebration ends with four nights of lantern viewing and dragon processions.

February 13th, 8:00 PM | Portland Story Theater
If you’re looking for something completely different to do for Valentine’s, this is it. KISS & TELL is Portland Story Theater’s Valentine’s Day show and it just might be the best date in town. You’ll enjoy wine and chocolate, along with stories of real love and romance woven together in a funny, sexy, and intimate evening of story theater at the Alberta Abbey.

The The Fix-It Fair is a free City of Portland event where you can learn simple ways to save money and connect with resources. Join your neighbors, and learn more about a range of topics such as water & energy savings, weatherizing your home, gardening & growing your own food, and yard care & composting. Bring an item to be fixed at the Repair Cafe by a Repair PDX volunteer, while learning how to do it yourself.
