2015 Cascade Festival of African Film
Feb. 6th Onwards | Hollywood Theatre & Portland Community College
The longest-running African film festival in the U.S. screens films ranging from full length, to documentaries & short films. In 2015, this festival pays tribute to "Nollywood", the fast-emerging film industry of Nigeria.

My Muddy Valentine
Feb. 14th - 15th, 9AM Onwards | Lee Farms
Romance can be a gritty game, but it doesn't have to be all box chocolates and fancy dinners. Get down and dirty at this fun running even that ditches the flowers and formalities for mud, beer, food, mimosas, music...and a much-deserved hot shower to end the day!

9th Annual Chowder Challenge
Feb. 21st, Noon - 4PM | Lompoc's Fifth Quadrant
A dozen local brewpubs and restaurants vie for the coveted Chowder Cup, with samples of traditional New England-style chowder up for the vote. This family-friendly event also includes live music, a beer garden, and a raffle, with all money raised going towards helping the homeless through Portland Community Transitional School.

Portland Polar Plunge
Feb. 27th, 8:30AM Onwards | Broughton Beach
Have a little freezing fun as you run, skip, or jump into the frigid waters of the Columbia River! Last year, over $450,000 in donations was raised for Special Olympics Oregon, once again illustrating that Portlanders know how to be both charitable and adventurous!

Feb. 28th Onwards | Oregon Ballet Theatre
Get swept up in the romance of this timeless fairytale, when a handsome prince, a fairy godmother, one missing glass slipper - and a little magic - help make dreams come true for Cinderella. Set to Prokofiev's opulent score, Ben Stevenson's colorful full-length version is one of the ballet world's most popular productions.
