Cinco de Mayo Half Marathon
May 4th, Various Times | Pioneer Courthouse Square
Already in its second decade, this half marathon/5K/10K prides itself on being locally produced and affordable for everyone. All participants receive icy cold beers from Lagunitas, tasty food from Pepino's, and can enjoy live mariachi music in this fun Spring tradition.

WIth Portland designers continuing to rule Project Runway, the city can add fashion to our cultural badges, alongside food and music. This show explores the craft of the region's pattern-makers and scissor-wielders.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic
May 11th, 8PM Doors | The Crystal Ballroom
George Clinton is one of the foremost innovators of funk music, and was the mastermind behind the bands Parliament and Funkadelic. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, and is considered to be the godfather of modern urban music.
