In November, we have much to be thankful for, not least the bounty of Autumn's harvest, apple cider, and roaring fires. It's time for knitting cardigans, getting cosy at home with the family, and green bean casseroles (yum!). The Last Unicorn
Nov. 1st & 2nd | Hollywood Theatre
This cult classic fantasy film, based on Peter S. Beagle's novel, was animated by the same Japanese artists who would later become the core of famed filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli. Now, a remastered digital print is embarking on a nationwide tour, & is showing for 2 nights in Portland - with author Beagle in attendance to meet fans & sign books!

Veteran's Parade

Through rain, sun, and even snow, dedicated volunteers have been instrumental in ensuring our community recognizes and honors our veterans at this annual parade, which is one of the largest on the West Coast.
