Two-wheeled transportation takes over the streets of Portland for two weeks with 290 bike-friendly events. Activities include all sorts of rides, a bike-in movie, a pedal picnic potluck, and even bike polo.

Got creativity? The Dairy Farmers of Oregon hosts this wacky race of handmade boats made from recycled milk cartons and jugs. Boat builders have five categories to compete in, from speediest craft to most fabulously designed.

Closer PDX brings five venues and four days worth of underground electronic music to Portland. See these young musicians with their glowsticks and their neon clothes and sunglasses in dark rooms in all of their glory. Stop by the 8th annual North American Organic Brewers Festival and celebrate naturally-grown-and-brewed beers from Deschutes, Hopworks, Alameda and dozens of other brewers. The festival is held at Overlook Park, positioned conveniently close to the MAX tracks so you can sample beers without having to designate a driver for the ride home!
