2012 Holiday Ale Fest
November 28th – December 2nd : Pioneer Courthouse Square
Come hoist a pint and toast the spirits of the season at the 2012 Holiday Ale Fest! Featuring 50 potent winter ales created specially by brewers for this event only. From Belgians and Barleywines, to Stouts and Sours, these beers are rich and full of robust flavors. Held in Downtown Portland, the fest is held under a large clear top tent to keep attendees warm and dry.

Crafty Wonderland : Super Colossal Holiday Sale
December 8th & 9th : Oregon Convention Center
Join 250 local artists selling anything and everything at this “super colossal” holiday sale! With everything from hand-stitched items, distinctive screen prints, sturdy wooden cutting boards, and lots more! This is a great option for holiday gift shopping as you will find something for everyone, and support local artists at the same time!

Tuba Christmas
December 8th – 1:30PM : Pioneer Courthouse Square
Ranging in sound from flatulent-sounding to virtuosic, more than 200 wielders of that most un-wieldy of instruments, the tuba, will assemble for a single rehearsal mob Pioneer Courthouse Square, and perform a Christmas-music program for passers by, just like they’ve done for 22 years and counting.

Cercle Français Holiday Party
December 13th – 12:00 – 1:00PM : First Congregational Church – 8th & SW Madison St.
All are welcome for this free lecture series entirely in French, with a slide show presenting how Noël is celebrated in France, presented by French-language instructor Marie-Pierre Wolfe, as well as traditional sweets donated by a local French bakery.
